Harley ---

Fernando is out of town and only checking the boards sporadically --- so hold on tight for him to respond, and don't get upset if it takes a couple of days for the response.

:)

I have DSL at work and this board is always on one screen, so I check it often (That is why I am one of the moderators! )

Knowing that Fernando may not see this quickly is why I responded!

I got it off GlockTalk ---

Heck -- for some reason, the only avatars I can get to show up and not cause an error is from off site! Or to get the url from ones here --- if I just click and select -- it always shows an error! :(

Harley--

The .40 Super is not DEAD --- In fact, if'n ya wants factory loads, contact [email protected] . In case lots they have the 135gr Hi-Vel at $250+UPS and the 135gr Quik-Shok at $298.75+UPS. They sell by the box at $12.00 and $14.95 +UPS also.

Last I heard, Lone Wolf Distributors http://www.lonewolfdist.com had .40 Super brass for sale. I have been told that Starline will produce brass, but it is probably on an accumulation basis.

No problem Harley ---

You just have to remember that it was Fernando who concieved and developed the .40 Super cartridge. So that is why he reacted as he did when you mentioned Peter Pi's/CorBon's "400 CorBon".

I personally have 2 firearms set up for the .40 Super --- one from STI and one custom built. The custom maker just took a 10MM bbl and reamed it out for the .40 Super.

Fernando ---

If sensop finds a gun, all he has to do is contact me about the ammo!! I still have plenty of cases of the QS and Hi-Vel on the shelf!

I spoke at length to the guy at Lone Wolf and he told me that the ammo that he was getting was supposedly NEWLY MANUFACTURED by Precision Ammo. I discussed with him what I knew of the situation and that he had better check to make sure that it was not just the loaded ammo that was onhand at Triton that had not been through QC and pressure tested. He said that they had assured him that it was not the case, and that he had send Precision a couple of barrels to do pressure testing with.
