Looks like Kimber is jumping into the EDC/revolver market. They are calling it the ReEvolver. The one photo I saw shows a stainless steel handgun that looks like a cross between a Centennial and a SP101. It apparently has the internal hammer of a S&W and the cylinder latch of a Ruger. The rear sight is dovetailed and looks to sit close to, if not completely even with the top of the frame.

I tried to get in their website to get more details, but the connection kept timing out. They must be getting a lot of traffic.

Addendum - I just found a short review from G&A at the SHOT show. .357 Magnm at 23 ounces, and of course a six shot (it's model number is K6s). No MSRP that I can find. At 23 ounces I'd be more inclined to load with .38 specials, but I'm a wimp.

I've been wanting a 3" Colt D-frame for years. If this is in that ballpark, I might be interested.

Knowing Kimber and their New York ways, it'll be the first revolver with a manual safety.
No, it won't; I don't know what it was called but during the 1960s in the filming of the British series, "The Avengers," Emma Peel was known to carry a revolver that had a safety.

You can see what it looks like with a quick google-image.

I was hoping the thing would show some style and class, like revolvers of a bygone day. Sadly, it doesn't. Like far too many of today's guns, it looks like a lead-dispensing appliance. Sigh.

A little more retro would have suited me too, Snake. And I would almost bet the MSRP will be close to a grand. Hope I'm wrong, but it seems like all revolvers are costing more these days. A new L frame Smith is going for well over $800 around here...at least when I can find them.

Oh, and I love your hashtag.

The most brutal revolver I ever shot was S&W's lightweight "J" frame .357. This may be the equal.
My S&W 640-2 isn't a lightweight. Was it their Model 60 .357 that you found objectionable? Other than the concealed hammer on the 640 they should weigh about the same.

Ok, I admit I'm stumped. I found a good site listing numerous firearms used in THE AVENGERS and cannot find a gun that fits, let alone THE gun.
Yet I'm sure I saw Emma Peel holding a revolver with a manual safety!
Argh!
*Sigh* Coulda been a publicity shot I guess. They might not have had access to the studio props and used something handy.
