Fooled'em! I always DVR it and watch later so I can zip past the commercials! :neer:On my cable's on-demand system, no more than the last two episodes are up at any given time.
The pay channels, they'll leave the whole season up. I guess that's a sale point to entice new subscribers--a good idea.
I've noticed that some of the basic cable channels only have their programs on on-demand a whole week late (AMC, History Channel). I guess this is because they'd really prefer you to watch the show "live" the week they're running and rerunning it so you can see all the commercials.
I'm still using old-school VHS, but I do the same thing for almost everything now. I can watch two hours of TV in an hour and a half.Fooled'em! I always DVR it and watch later so I can zip past the commercials! :neer:
Funny, I d/l the pilot and the wife and I did give up after that. Maybe we should give it some more time.If you're gonna try it, I'd say give it at least the first three episodes. If you're not hooked by then, don't waste any more time on it. But don't give up after the first episode.
It's kinda wild. I don't think I've ever seen another show where by the fifth or sixth episode, you both loathe and also kinda like every single character in the thing.Funny, I d/l the pilot and the wife and I did give up after that. Maybe we should give it some more time.
I have always been a fan of Jessica Lange but i was surprised when I realized who she was in the pilot.
Yes, it's definitely one long story with various twists and secrets revealed as we go. I think you saw episode 9 or 10, so you're way behind. No wonder it made no sense to you.I watched this show last week. Does it have a contining story or ?? I caught the black dahlia reference but the story made no sense to me at all. After 15 min. I bailed.
