There's more truth there than most modern people would care to believe.
The DIMocRATS Party in 2019 is nothing more than a motley collection of splinter groups of FOOLS, militant Atheists, Anti-2nd Amendment extremists, BIGOTS, SOCIALISTS, Jew-HATERS, BLM members, PRO-abortion extremists & other assorted WEIRDOS.
In pointy of fact, in 2019 Harry S. Truman, Adlai Stevenson, John F, Kennedy, Robert F, Kennedy or Lyndon Johnson would have NO chance of being the DIMs nominee for any office but also those men wouldn't even be welcome as DP members.

It's fun (but disgusting) to watch the Dims nationally and especially in California as they fire down their own trenches.
The one thing the Left does better then anyone is infiltrating and taking over an organization from the inside. They EXCEL at this.
They've been doing this to the Dim party since the 60's.
The old time party bosses and union leaders got a good look at the Red Left in the 30's and drove them out of the party, and kept them out until the 60's.
When McGovern ran in the 60's he "Opened up the party to the People" to stop the old smoke filled room process, and the hard Left poured in.
It cost him the election but the Left had a foot in the door.
They immediately began the infiltration process.
They way it works is that the Left inside bring in others who hide what they are, for a while.
They remove non-True Believers by giving them lateral moves out of the way, or promotions with great sounding titles to positions of no real power.
Once they get enough power they simply begin purging the non-True Believers.
The last of them was Joe Lieberman.
One year he was the party candidate for Vice-President, two years later they ran him out of the party. Purged for not being enough of a True Believer.
Once the Left has complete control of an organization they start purging those who are not True enough Believers.
This is what's been going on in California for several years and has just been getting started in the national party.
As they purge the less-Lefty members the infighting gets brutal.
Nothing can usually save the less then True enough Believers, as Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are finding out.
They're yesterdays Left but not up to today's standards of purity, and whether they know it or not they're on the way out.
A crushing loss at the polls as we suspect may happen in 2020 means nothing to the hard Left other then that they need to purge more of the less-True Believers and need to double down on the Leftward moves.
They've already said that Hillary lost because she wasn't hard Left enough.
It's very seldom that an organization can be recovered without force once the Hard Left gets control.
The Dim party's only hope is that there's still enough of the old democrats at the grass roots level that they can stage a counter-putsch and start purging the Hard Left from power.
Again, this is almost impossible because once the Hard Left gets power, they'll do anything at all to keep it.
They already proved they had no problem with fixing the Hillary-Bernie race to short stop Bernie, so it would be no problem to fix local party elections for leadership on the local level.
As has been said, The Left ruins everything it touches.
The problem for us is getting their hands off one of the two political parties in America before they manage to win complete power again.
They will NOT go easily.
If they get full power they'll make sure they never lose an election again.
For Republicans (Conservatives) we also have to continue purging the party of the "Well I never" RINO Republicans who's battle cry is "We lose like gentlemen".
The Dims have NO problem with eye gouging, groin kicking politics, and we need to get some people who aren't afraid of fighting for what's right....us.
Point is, these Lefty Dims are not going away, and not giving up.
They have complete power of the education system and are moving into even kindergarten levels, complete control of entertainment, almost complete control of the government bureaucracies, complete control of many of the giant businesses, and complete control of the popular culture.
Their Long March through our institutions has been a huge success.
They're busily engaged in turning our young people against the country and us, and they're winning.

I not only fear that you are 100% CORRECT but that SOON the "cool war" between left & right will turn violent & blazing hot, with the HARD LEFT doing something horrid that will make us all consider 9-11-2001 to be "mild", when it comes to cruelty & innocent blood spilled.
That scenario is why I believe that WISE Patriots will quietly prepare for home defense & local area defense. = I actually SAW what happens after "law & order" breaks down after Katrina, as roving gangs of armed predators roamed the streets, seeking to enrich themselves & to prey upon the defenseless.
I also was in LA County during the Watts Riots, though I was on Army TDY & we are several miles away from most of the actual rioting/arson/looting.
As for me & our house, we are armed & prepared to defend "hearth & home" against untoward events. = We will not go looking for trouble but we will be prepared lest trouble comes for us.

Any trouble will mostly be confined to big cities, probably only on the Left coast in places like Portland and Seattle.
The Left knows better then to try the usual out in "Fly over country".
This is why they're so frantic to pass gun control and push it to confiscation.
They still don't fully understand that most of us will NOT be giving up our arms, along with our freedom and right to say who'll be our leaders.
They are convinced that if they pass more and more restrictive gun control laws that the average American will just go along until they can start rounding up what's left.
If you notice, there's no Lefty trouble in small to medium towns, only in the bigger inner cities that have been run by the Dims for over 50 years.
This tends to lead to tunnel vision...... They start believing the rest of the country is like the big cities and think the same way, not to mention obeying the same way.
They only have the guts to work in mobs that outnumber the victims, and "something" tells even them not to try anything other then in their enclaves in big cities where the city leadership is usually on their side.
I think even the most radical of them deep down understand that trying the Lefty violence in most of the country will not end well for them.
Even the hard Left violent Weathermen and Black Panthers of the 60's and 70's never did anything other in areas they knew to be "safe" for them.
There's an old saying......
"Never make trouble for a man you KNOW will kill you".
The Left knows better then to try the usual out in "Fly over country".

Fyi, The FAR LEFT says that they plan to start widespread VIOLENCE in 5 Texas cities, "should The Orange Man win again": Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston & SAN ANTONIO (where I live).
The LUNATICS best stay out of GHHD, as our Historic District is FILLED with GIs, retired Armed Forces members & LEOs. = NOT a good place to "start something".
