I saw references to his "M1/H" rifle in his "COMBAT" writings at TGZ.
Apparently, it's based on the good old M1 Garand, but beyond that, what are the specifics?

Think about it a second, Brasshopper, and all should be revealed to you.

Michael's passions included the .30-'06, the .45 ACP, guns that shot same, and all things "Elvira." I once forwarded him a series of explicit photos of Cassandra Peterson, unsure of his reaction, and he was as excited as if I'd've sent him an original North American Arms M1911.

It being an M1, and the "H" for Harries, I had already.
After that I was lost.

Now, from your answer, I picture it being a .45ACP chambered M1 with an Elvira-shaped carved stock.
That's probably not it, but picturing it is fun.

A bit off topic, but interesting:

Butterfields had one for auction last fall at an estimated $10,000 to $15,000. I don't know if it sold.
