I recently purchased a CMMG ar-15 22 LR from a gun show. I took it out yesterday and put 100 or so rounds through it. I went to shoot it again and it fired but it was like the bolt was not closed all the way and alot of blast came back towards my face. when i pulled the bolt out the spring and the plate that holds the spring in fell apart. It appears that the weld broke on top of the plate that holds the spring in. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I was using regular Blazer ammo which i have always used.

Walt's right. That doesn't sound like anything that will be easy to fix and it may require a new bolt.
