Not to diminish someone who is making a useful product, but this is new, how?

Stopping 7.62X39 is not new. Using glass to stop is isn't new, either.

Is this lighter, cheaper, easier to replace when, shot, what?

All chuckles aside, I just don't think I could do that ( the shootee part...I've had PLENTY of bosses I could trigger off a few rounds at).

He had eye protection-on the top of his head. I'm shocked by the lack of visibly apparent ear protection also.

I've seen the video clip of Richard Davis shooting himself for the first time to demonstrate his body armor. You can hear the stress in his voice. The armored glass gent seemed VERY confident in his product.

I think it's safe to say that this was far from the first time the product was tested with live fire. Still...

Nice touch of humor at the end.:)
