I have no issue with going after gun smugglers, by all means.
The combination of "We'll let crooks out again and again to keep crime spiking while going after dealers" has a very bad and even predictable ring.
I am all for catching smugglers. Harassing regular dealers, not so much.
Still, interesting that there does not seem to be a type ban style move, yet.
