While I feel for cops these days, I'm not sure I want to go that far. Legitimately, there are cases where a cop should be sued, jailed, etc.

The bad part about trying to figure the bill out is having to pull up the US Code section being altered and then checking for case law on the same. Plus it probably wouldn't affect suits under 42 USC 1983.......but would need the review noted above.

I couldn't pull the article in Pravda on the Potomac up. That said, if they said the sun was shining, I'd look outside to verify.

That's why I referred to them as Pravda on the Potomac. IIRC, Pravda means "truth" in Russian.

There was a Russian saying that "There's no Pravda in Invesdia and no Invesdia in Pravda." Invesdia supposedly meaning "news". Or, the other way around as to meaning.

So, if you're of a whimsical mind, the NYT is Invesdia on the Hudson.
