Thought I'd pass this on. I bought one of the Revolution holsters for my M&P9 as a inexpensive way to tote it while doing various things. It stands a wee bit far from the body to be used for concealment where it might really matter, but works well for a knockabout holster that you can hide with a loose jacket/shirt if required.

Anyway, the other night one of our stud colts spooked going into the barn and both knocked me flat and then ran over me. The holster retained and protected the piece through my acrobatics, suffering only very minor scratching that you have to look for to find. Both gun (chock full of rock dust) and holster came through much better than I did, but Alieve and hot showers took care of me.

Should anyone care to repeat the test with the holster of their choice, I will cheerfully provide the colt, you can be your own test dummy.

First, glad you're okay.

Second, glad your gun is okay.

Third, no thanks. I'm just starting to heal up nicely myself. ;)

I need to update this thread. I dropped Blade-Tech a note about how well their holster did so far as retention and protecting the piece from everything but the rock dust. After a wee bit of discussion about holsters in general, they asked for their holster back and replaced it with one that offers better protection from debris. Made to my spec, no less.

That folks, is customer service. If you're looking for a kydex type holster please give them a look. They definately went above and beyond to take care of a customer.
