I like to read military fiction and non fiction. I am looking for WWII era tank warfare reading opportunities. If you have any suggestions, it would be appreciated.
Thanks

Death Traps by Belton Cooper. It's about armored warfare in France,I got it for my Kindle from amazon. They should have it in book form. Also Tank Killers: A History of America's World War II Tank Destroyer Force by Harry Yeide.

Possibly the best fiction work is also unfortunately almost impossible to find today.

The book is "Hell Has No Heroes", also known as "Barbara" by Wayne Robinson.
It's the story of the crew of one of the few Sherman dual drive amphibious tanks to make it ashore on D-Day.
It gets into the brutal tank warfare of the tank units assigned to infantry, instead of the big armored units.

It's hard to find, and I bought a used paperback through Amazon for about $20.00 recently.

Start checking out the Osprey Publishing catalog. Very dry and technical on a lot of it, but you will come out with a better appreciation of systems and tactics used.
