A friend of mine recently reminded me of this incident, which I witnessed a few years ago, and I thought I'd share it. It's a true story:

On an Orlando overnight with the airline, I walked across the street to Hooters for some lunch. At the table next to me was a young couple, and Dad was holding a baby boy, about 10 months old. We were sitting on bar stools at the taller tables.

The waitress, who was evidently quite happy with her endowments, and had them displayed high and proud, came over to take their order. When she turned toward Dad, Junior spied what he wanted for lunch, right there in his face. He lunged, and latched on tight.

She instinctively pulled away, but Junior was holding on with both hands, and starting to get dragged out of Dad's arms, so she stopped. Dad reacted too, and started to pry Junior off, but immediately realized what he'd be grabbing while he unclenched those little fists. He wisely reconsidered. Meanwhile, Junior was happily sucking away, making slurping noises and waiting for the milk to flow.

There followed a little dance wherein Mom, Dad, and waitress all tried their best to dissuade the little guy, but he wasn't going down easily. Finally, Mom got him unglued, but he detached with a big smacking sound, and left a slobbery wet ring around the now-erect scene of the crime.

At the sight of one brave male finally doing what everyone always wants to do in Hooters, and getting away with it, the whole place erupted in cheers, and the littly guy got a spontaneous standing ovation.

I've always imagined he grew up to be a pilot. I hope he learned the value of subtlety and charm somewhere along the way.

Sorry, IMO it kinda fits the atmosphere of the place... LOL

who prefers not to go anywhere he wouldn't be comfortable taking prospective maybe-someday-in-laws to ask permission to date their daughter...

Charlie Petty,

YEP. they still make them.
(EVERY WO/Army aviator buys a pair about 10 minutes after they get their "spotted bar" AND a BIG pilots' chronometer, too. - You also evidently cannot BE an Army WO1, without buying a FAST sports car, too.)

I can't tell you "on forum" what else that aviators have too, less I get BANNED from gunhub.com. = CHUCKLE.

yours, sw
