I'm "familiar with" the bump-fire system BUT have never owned one. = A friend near our WV mountain lair bought one & let us "play about with it" one Sunday PM.
(Seemed to work OK but NOT some thing that I would spend 100 bucks for.)

WELCOME. = I guess that I'm "hard to impress" with "ersatz full-auto" systems, as I'm a USAMPS-trained machine-gunner & for 3 decades had unfettered access to .30 & .50 caliber MG.

The 3 MG that I would actually pay $$$$$$ for are the pre-WWI MAXIM gun (with all the "goodies"), the Colt's 1897 "Tater-digger" and a cartridge GATLING.

That said, I'm inalterably opposed to the NFA of 1934 & every other similar federal law, as I regard all such laws as VIOLATIONS of the 2nd Amendment.

I've seen them in use... they seem to mimic full-auto well. However, since the primary utility for full auto seems to be turning money into noise and brass, I'm not interested.

Looks like a lawsuit is pending and they are trying to liquidate all their inventory quickly...some type of patent suit from a company who produces a similar device....
I have to agree with Tim, while it looks fun, it would be a costly venture.
From the video it appears there not much more to this than a "pray n spray" device.
I did get a little giddy when I first saw it (truth be told)

Well they certainly haven't cut their prices "to liquidate inventory". = At the last big SA gun show, some time ago, they were selling the "bump" system for 99.oo.

Fwiw, this is REALLY "spray & pray", from my really limited experience. = I wasn't "impressed".

SW, I will be in your fine city in January and have not been there since the Hemisphere in '68...a group of men from my church are meeting up with others from all over the USA to go into Mexico on mission work. It's a ongoing outreach mission....wish I had time to do the river-walk and see the Alamo again...

I truly HOPE that you have a couple of battalions of Mexican ARMY to protect you. = My adult/adopted daughter was born/raised in Mexico City, still has blood family down there & she is now AFRAID to go to visit her sisters/brothers, who are in the DF, Jalisco & Baja California.
AND
My saddle & boot maker (I've been his customer for 3+ decades.) told me NOT to come back to Saltillo to have my harnesses/saddles/tack repaired and/or to buy a new Charro saddle as, "Senor, it is too dangerous for Americanos to be here.".
(I used to spend about half my time in Mexico, when I worked the border area & have many friends in the State & Federal Judicial Police. = BUT I never cross the border anymore.)

May I gently suggest that your men's mission group go to RED CHINA, NORTH KOREA, AFGHANISTAN, IRAN, SOMALIA, YEMEN or another similar "garden spot", as those places would be SAFER???

My first gunsmithing job was working on class 3 arms, most anything you could imagine. Everything from WW II on up to what was the latest greatest in the '80's. I shot oodles of machineguns and I think I was the only one who worked there who wasn't in Hog Heaven...yeah, they're fun but they just don't do it for me. I'm much more impressed when I put 5 well aimed shots onto 5 targets in rapid succession than winging 5 targets with a 30 round burst.

Agreed! They're fun...especially when someone else is paying for the ammo...but I just don't find them anywhere near fun enough to justify the cost of owning or shooting one.

Oh, if I was independently wealthy, I'd probably own a Thompson.

But I do think aimed semi auto fire is much more effective in the majority of cases.

A drum loaded Thompson would be my dream firearm as well...not real accurate but then you don't have to be sending that much lead down stream..
