Traditionally the problem with flying cars has been that there are so many necessary compromises that the final product is neither a good car nor a good airplane. That having been said, this one does look pretty sweet. It'll be interesting to see if it takes off (pun intended).

It's usually cheaper to buy a plane and a car. Not to mention fuel efficiency.

and the general public or the politicians will be too thick headed to see the advantages- the first time we went down this road was about 46 or so with the aero car-then there's mr moller with his ducted fan system- and there was a time I wanted an osprey so bad- now they have it figured that you can't take off from a highway- there's usually an overpass in the way
