Very good, DavidE. Hitler's last words were ....epic!
That was better than a lot of the Downfall excerpts already on the 'net.
Thank you. Just wanted to have fun with it, and it seemed so natural given Feinstein's past with that stuff. Thank you guys for the idea!
On a serious note, it made a few points that needed to be made. For one, with the Senate now looking to take the heat on this issue as opposed to Congress (I am convinced that is why this issue is being pushed, to try and make the GOP-led Congress look bad with no issues looking rosy for the Administration, yet the Senate is turning into the battleground.) All it is doing is driving gun and ammunition sales up. (Unfortunately, prices too. The rifle I was thinking of buying about a year ago is something I probably should have "pulled the trigger" on then. The prices in the last year have almost doubled, so I am watching the current climate with some interest.)
Kevin - Thank you for the hat tip to that piece, sounds pretty fun! 9mm ammo isn't bad on cost and availability as centerfire ammo goes these days either, and for someone who already has a 9mm sidearm a carbine will go well with it for range sessions.
As for Nitescout, they have a Facebook page which I am checking out. It looks like that pistol is their first firearm product, their other one being a laser sight. It is pretty darn neat looking. I hope they do well. On a very serious note, the 1994 ban hurt a lot of people, especially smaller gunmakers. (Claridge, of the Claridge High-Tech, comes to mind.) I'm glad this "ban list" seems to be stuck in the Senate. Still wish we had a pro-gun Pres.
