I was on another site and found a link to Center Fire Systems selling some cheap loose steel cased 223 ammo. $29 for 100 rounds. I can't seem to find out if my order has shipped after a week of waiting. Anyone else dealt with this company?

Well after 3 e-mails and a phone call, it would seem its finally shipped. Two weeks after being billed that is. I think its a one-man operation.
One other thing I didn't care for is they do not bill you or tell you what shipping will be until after you commit to purchase from them. Word of caution y'all...

Hum, I finally had to call these folks...probably won't do business with them in the future.

Got my ammo today. I had to chk my CC statement and found that I was charged $10 shipping and $1.21 unknown charges. My original statement online did not include or show these charges. Buyer beware

Can you tell what brand this ammo is? Russian or Amerikanski?
Actual .223 or 5.56mm.?
It's Russian steel cased TulAmmo ...it was 100 Rds for $29 plus $11 shipping...prices are good ...its just there lack of communications I question. I was billed for shipping separately but was never provided any documentation of those costs anywhere...they billed my CC separately without my consent or knowledge..

Did you check out their shipping info chart on their website?
yup, but it listed purchases of large purchases only. So I emailed them and asked. My receipt showed $0 shipping...then two days later I checked my CC statement and it show another $11.21 charge from them. So I called and asked. It's no real BIG thing I guess, just struck me as odd and not good business conduct.

RF,

Do they have 7.62x39mm, as well?
(I'm buying a Ranch Rifle.)

Have you FIRED any of their ammo? And is it OK?

yours, sw
Yes sir, $8 for 20 rounds of Tulammo. Its pretty good stuff. I bought 300 rnds of 30 cal for my M1A and it worked fine...just be aware that their shipping charges will pop-up later after you order and paid:cool:
