Yet another high profile figure from the entertainment world has passed on. Charles Bronson, son of a Pennsylvania coal miner, died today at age 81, reportedly from pneumonia at an LA hospital.
My favorite films of his were "Once Upon a Time in the West" , which was probably one of the few Great Westerns made, and also "Telefon", "The White Buffalo", and "Red Sun". He was probably best known for his 3 "Death Wish" films, his role in "The Great Escape" and especially "the Magnificent Seven".
Sorry to see you go, Mr. Buchinskie, and just wanted to say a sincere 'thanks'. You were one of the Great Ones.
