Yesterday a d federal court ruled Washington DC's ban on carrying a handgun outside one's home unconstitutional:

A federal judge on Saturday overturned Washington D.C.'s ban on carrying handguns outside the home, saying it was unconstitutional.

"There is no longer any basis on which this Court can conclude that the District of Columbia's total ban on the public carrying of ready-to-use handguns outside the home is constitutional under any level of scrutiny," Judge Frederick Scullin said in an opinion."

Of course they are HYSTERICAL over this judicial decision, as MOST of the subscribers/posters to that website are FAR LEFT EXTREMISTS, NASTY MEAN-SPIRITED FOOLS & HATERS.
(IF you regularly read the forums at WAPO, you will discover that lots of those same LEFTIST posters are also ANTI-SEMITES.)

My last place that I was stationed in CONUS before retiring from the USA was at the Pentagon & I know who/what I'm talking about. = The VAST MAJORITY of actual DC residents are LEFT of CENTER & the vast majority of those DC residents are "progressive" DIMocRATS.

Truthfully, I've never known if the average "WAPO poster" was terminally DISHONEST, STUPID or BOTH.

In every case where the courts/states have legalized CCW and/or open carry, the SAME bunch of morons/leftists/idiots/hysterical fools claim that LIBERTY will promote "blood running in the streets", "vigilante actions", increases in violent crime, attacks on "people of color" & other "scare tactics".

The FACT that every such law/judicial decision DECREASES crimes/violence against innocents does NOTHING to stop the HYSTERICAL RANTING by the "pants-wetters", fools & "public nannies".
Incidentally, the same DC, elitist, "SMART SET", who fear armed civilians, generally live behind locked gates, in "lilly-white enclaves", which have ARMED GUARDS.

I remember in about 1986/7ish when the state of Florida passed a law allowing the easier carrying of guns, the antis started whining that the "Sunshine State" would become the "Gunshine State" and everyone would be shooting each other over traffic mishaps and whatnot.
Of course, it didn't happen.
And I've been kicking myself ever since; I forgot to ask what kind of cheese they liked with their "whine.":neer::wine::wine::rotflmao:
