Zombies unite!!!!
:p

Seriously, while there's been spells of a day or so with nothing, there have also been some really good threads here lately as Stand Watie said.
Also keep in mind the time of year; Christmas, and people are busy with that and may not always have time to log on.
However I visit this site daily, and usually multiple times.
So drop by often -- you may find something interesting!!:D

Ya gotta remember, people here have LIVES, I know, I know, most of the internet is populated by kids in basements who spend too much time on computers, but here people go to the range and load ammo and associate with other human beings, especially around holiday time.
A few insomniacs like me who rise early eat breakfast over the repeat of O'Reilly and hit the deck a runnin' at 0600 are relatively rare.
Personally, I like the low noise high content ratio around here. There are only a few things left on the Internet I have time for, and this is one of the best for content.

You gotta admit, the joint was livelier when Dean was here, stirring up the crap with a canoe paddle at all times! I miss him.

I wonder if he knows that there have been a couple changes of management since he left?

Yep, and he's been invited back, but I get the impression he has other stuff going on in his life...

Ah, the good old days of the Cleveland Freenet. That's something I had spent a lot of time on.

Dean bounced around a couple forums finally settling on a blog of his own design. He has not posted in a long while, so I suspect he may have some health issues but that is just a feeling and nothing confirmed.

On the old Cleveland Free Net the locals couldn't have Tag Lines. One bloke starting writing in the Who lines at the end and I picked up the bad habit and it's been my trademark ever since.

Who sometimes makes the Who line longer than the postie just for his fan base!

Apparently, Dean's web host got hacked. The main page for the TGZ website was finally accessible this morning (individual pages seemed to have remained accessible if you had the specific URL) but the blog was still not operational when I checked.

This site isn't even close to dead; folks just don't post if they don't have anything to say!

Think of it as an internet version of 'companionable silence'. :)
