At the OGCA show on the 16th, I came across a deal that I just couldn't pass up. One of the dealers had a 20 ga. O/U that was almost TOO cheap. It was a Pointer imported by Legacy Arms. These are turkish built by Kahn. It had a very nice fit and finish. It is a very nice looking gun. They have a 5 year warranty. Comes with 5 choke tubes. I gave it a test run yesterday evening at the local club shooting skeet. Hit 22/25 with it. Not bad for a new gun.

By many accounts the Turks make some fine guns. Occasionally a country offers a product that competes very well with the foreign competition at a very attractive price...Korean cars come to mind. I hope the Pointer serves you well.

smokpole,

I own a Turkish-made 12 gauge pump Model 1 riot-gun by ASI that seems to be a "knock-off" of the military-police model Benelli shotgun. = The best 200.oo OTD that I've spent lately.
(I may well buy another identical pump-gun for our farm's defense, as I'm quite impressed by its quality manufacture.)

yours, sw
