I've long been amazed at the appalling ignorance of the anti-gun crowd. To keep it really simple, how long has the .454 Casull cartridge been around? What's the practical difference between this new .500 and a .357 or .44 Maggie, for that matter?

What has frustrated me for some 36 years, now, since I first got involved in RKBA during the debates for what became GCA 68, is that facts don't matter. It's all emotion and symbols. Anti-gun folks are afraid. They're not all afraid of the same things, but they wad up in a political bunch against us...And when you're talking emotions and fears and suchlike, facts become irrelevant.
