Do the Kool Aid Kids Ever Learn?

This is only partly their fault, but if there wasn't a big demand, Starline wouldn't have met it. Anyway, on page 41 of the September 2004 'The Blue Press' dillion has catelogged unprimed .45 GAP brass. Don't know what primer its made to handle, but I didn't think the 229 (?) was available to the public.

Awwwwwwwwwww, c'mon, Sam… cut'em some slack.

My impression is that Starline is a quality product, #1, and, #2, I'm sure that they followed the SAAMI-approved Speer data, so the strengthened case should perform as intended! (i.e., hedge against that well-identified lack of case-head support.)

And while Speer has yet… I can check this next week… to release that proprietary .45 G.A.P. ignition system as a component item, what makes you think that Winchester hasn't released its own?

And might not Mike be doing this on the come?
Yeah, Dean, Starline is a quality product. What I didn't mention is that in the same box Dillion's got Startline S&W 500 unprimed brass.
Glocktalk thread stated recently that the Dillon Blue Press just came out with .45 GAP gauges (pg 14 $8.95).

The Powell Wyonming Police Department has adopted the Glock 37 and are in the process of transitioning to the new pistol and caliber now. :D

Snake, m'man!

You are a wag of, if not the highest order, then one after my own black heart!

I think we gotta find some sort of recovery program for Br'er Jordan, something which starts with a crisis intervention team, and then 28-days of three-times-a-day meetings. Otherwise he's gonna implode.
You guys are truly hopeless, but at least you're amusing at the same time. You're even funnier than some of the folks at Glocktalk. Keep it coming, please. 8)

You're just pissed off because now you can't say "NO Agencies are even using the .45 G.A.P". :p :p :p
Well, maybe you can change the rule to say it doesn't count unless the agency has at least 50, 100, 500, 1000, 10,000, or whatever.

Well, just since we're talkin' Glocks here....

Here's a pic I took a couple months ago. Fabrice Czarnecki, MD, right, LFI staff, is showing off his new blue plastic "training" Glock (I dunno what number, they all look alike to me--it's the little one). He's saying that he likes it lot, except that if he leaves it out in the sun, it can get soft.

Steve Denney, LFI staff, left, has just said, "So you're telling us then that you have a limp Glock?"

Mas Ayoob and my 14YO son Jack obviously think this is a GREAT joke. I was concentrating on getting a pic of Mas and my kid in the same shot and didn't hear a word of the foregoing dialog, which was much later related to me by Jack.

The second pic is Jack busting plates with Mas's new Kimber .45 (his writeup should be appearing in one of the mags any month now). Mas took a real liking to Jack and looks almost as pleased and proud in this photo as I felt myself! Good times....

Well nuts! What do you have to do to post pics here?

EDIT: Got 'em to post FINALLY but they're obviously in the wrong order. Oh well, stuff happens. I'll do better next time, maybe.
Blue pistol or not, why does he have his finger on the trigger ?

I was waiting for someone to ask that. :)

These things are MADE for "unsafe" handling. That's what they're FOR. :D
  • Look closer… the finger isn't on the trigger or even in the trigger guard.[/*:108yhq6t]
  • Mas instructs, and uses himself the last I knew, a "cocked" crooked trigger finger as opposed to a straight finger, when "off-trigger."[/*:108yhq6t]

You are correct, sir. And he was still using it as of last Memorial Day weekend, at any rate, I can tell you for a fact. :D

I can also tell you for a fact that Mas is one of the safest and most professional gun handlers I've ever met. And he inspires those around him to go and do likewise.

Grape? I'd have guessed lemming-lime.

Um, I forgot to warn everyone that Rob is an inveterate and unrepentant punster!

This was one of his higher level efforts, however!
