I don't think I've met a doctor in North Carolina who wasn't pro-2A, or at the very least, neutral.
When I was taking my NC CCW class there was an interventional radiologist in the class. When it came time to shoot, he pulled out a full sized 1911.
"You're not going to carry that, are you Doc?", I asked.
"Yep. I work uptown, and get called out at all hours. I want something in a caliber that starts with 'four' because we rarely see wounds from those in the ER. More often than not they go straight to the morgue."
I have no issue with going after gun smugglers, by all means.
The combination of "We'll let crooks out again and again to keep crime spiking while going after dealers" has a very bad and even predictable ring.
I am all for catching smugglers. Harassing regular dealers, not so much.
Not sure if this will stand, there is still the whole Court and the Supreme Court down the pike, but this is an interesting one.
The Ninth Circuit just had a Three Judge Panel rule that California Magazine Capacity restrictions are Unconstitutional.

New York's State Attorney General has moved to dissolve the NRA, based on accusations of fiscal mismanagement.
Addendum, this thread...
This guy is selling mugs with 20 % of the proceeds going to fight Gubner Coonman's gun grab here in Virginia.
I know all of us need yet -another- coffee mug, let alone a 20 dollar one but if you feel so inclined, here's a link.
I'm in for a couple.
