out of a vending machine? Yup, there used to be vending machines which dispensed ice cream pops and ice cream sammiches. I haven't seen one in at least thirty years. I see modern age soda and candy machines. Why not a modern age machine for getting toasted almond pops, regular ice cream pops and that all time, old time favorite of mine, the ice cream sammich.

They still make ice cream vending machines --- the new ones are very neat --- they have a chest type freezer inside and when you make your selection, the lid opens and a vacuum hose (like a shop vac type) moves over your selection and picks it up, brings it over to the drop point and softly lets it go so you can reach in and get it.
