Older than that... I've linked to a post on this forum from 2 years ago this month.

When I first heard about this I thought it was a joke. Then, when I found it it was actually being made, I thought it was just an engineering demonstration. However, they had these at the SHOT show this year. Apparently somebody is taking them seriously.

Well, if you have everything sensible in your 1911 Variants collection, it makes sense, under the heading of "two much money for their own good" category. And you have paid for the tax stamps on your Star selective fire version already, then you should buy one, maybe two with consecutive serial numbers.
