COPYRIGHT 2003 by National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc.Leaders in the firearm and shooting range industries joined with shooting sports officials to outline a path to secure the shooting sports industry's leadership in the future of shooting range development. Together, they signed a Statement of Principles during the 25th SHOT Show. The statement promotes the development and implementation of Environmental Stewardship Plans that document a commitment to the environmental health of the community. The statement is the result of a collaborative effort by representatives from all aspects of the shooting sports community. Industry groups, conservation organizations and competition governing bodies are invited to join in signing the statement. Those interested should contact Mary Maki at (203) 426-1320.
