A Capybara???

Well, a lot of people run from mice and rats, and believe me, if I'm sitting somewhere and a mouse darts across the floor, I'm on alert. :D

If I'm in the subway and a rat comes out on the platform, I tell him the Downtown 6 to Brooklyn Bridge is on the other side of the station, this is the Uptown 6 to the Bronx. Then I run. :D

But, I don't think many people would run from a Capybara. They just have this weird, tranquil, non-threatening appearance and demeanor, but a Capybara is . . .

The World's Largest Rodent, . . .

in other words, . . .

a 115 pound RAT!!!   :?

Ahhhhhh yes, The Esteemed Mr. Jeffries, The Beloved Special Ed, and The Perceptive Mr. Harbinger.

One at a time:

Mr. Jeffries, my good man, I do believe you could use a meal. Might I suggest Katz's Deli, a famous old establishment on New York City's Lower East Side, famous for the slogan "Send a Salami To Your Boy In The Army" of WWII fame. I would go with a pastrami on rye and a corned beef on rye for you, extra mustard along with two kasha knishes, and one of those Army Salamis to go. Three visits a month and you'll be back to "fightin' weight" in no time.

Special Ed, what can I say? You've got me dead to rights. Must be taking cues from Harbinger. Most of my bourbon tastings ARE done at noon or shortly after, because my bedtime is somewhere around 3-4 p.m. during the week!!! :D

Mr. Harbinger, I must incorporate more of those "emoticons" into my posts than just the boilerplate that's in front of us on screen. A capital idea, and yes, I'll drink to that!!! :pigsfly:
