I'm one of the few folks with any .450 SMC brass. Anyone else out there worked up loads for 230-250 grain bullets?

I kinda thought someone would bring up the 450 SMC sooner or later.

.45 Super loads will work fine as starting points with the 450 SMC brass. The best primers have been Federal small rifle.

Power Pistol or Winchester Action Pistol are good powders if you don't mind a little flash. They give good velocity with the least amount of pressure.

Is 450SMC brass available anywhere or is it out of production? If it is out of production, what are the chances of it making a comeback?

The brass was ordered by Triton from Starline Brass. There were no plans when I left for Starline to release the 450 SMC. It was supposed to be available through Triton.

Currently there are some dealers well stocked in 450 SMC. As far as brass, to the best of my knowledge it is not currently available anywhere.

Chance of it making a comeback? YOU BETCHA!
