Federal Ordnance 394X with all H&R parts , even the stock. Don't know anymore than that on this rifle. I think this is one that came from Israel M14 parts ,came with a sling with Hebrew writing on it.

My just acquired fed ord rifle is sn 72XX
It has a winchester barrel, trw bolt, sak op rod, and trw trigger group with a black synthetic stock, all other parts are usgi
AND... it shoots like a dream! 1" @ 100 yds is routine with lc XM80 ball ammo.

I believe the fella I got it from orignally puchased it in the early 90's

# 7089. All GI parts. 06/89. After about 100 rounds, noticed a crack in reciever weld. Returned to Fed Ord for a free replacement. Have never looked back! Papers that came with rifle? Been too long and too many rounds fired! I would guess about 5000. Maybe more. Has never seen a factory loaded round. All reloads. Just a fun shooter that never misses a lick! Need more like it!!

Congratulations! cas, 66118 is the CAGE Code for Winchester. You have a Winchester bolt. If the hammer and trigger housings are marked 66118 then those were made by Winchester as well. The windage knob was made by Wright Manufacturing, sucontractor to H&R and TRW. Stock is USGI synthetic. USGI synthetic stocks may not look pretty but they work well. :D

Serial number list updated 11-06-05.
