For those of you who shoot 9mm there's a smokin' deal going on right now. At Brownells.com you can get a 1000 round case of American Eagle 115 gr ball ammo for 205.99. Apply the Brownells code H7L for $20 off and free shipping, and the price drops to 185.99.
Finally, Federal has a 25% rebate going on until the end of the year on American Eagle ammo. Getting the rebate drops the final price down to $139.50, or just under 14¢ per round.
It costs me about 11¢ per round to load 9mm (around 8¢ for a bullet after shipping and, say, 3¢ for the primer and powder). I'm not doing all that work for 3¢ per round.
