Hello from a 3rd generation Oregonian! I've been shooting since I was 6, when my Grandfather would take me to the County fairs and let me shoot on those cool old galleries with the moving ducks and other targets.
My parents gave me a Remington 513T target rifle for my 10th birthday, and I've shot a lot of paper, cans and critters with that rifle. Bought my first .357 mag; an S&W Highway Patrolman, and as I recall I paid $83 for the NIB revolver. when I was 13 by giving my favorite dealer $5 down on layaway. Took me only 4 months to pay it off with funds from my paper route, mowing lawns and anything else people would pay me to do.
I have quite a few guns now. The ones I shoot the most are 1911's, N Frame S&W's models 29, 27, 28, 57, 58 and a 6" Colt Python. I caught the .41 Mag disease about 3 or 4 years ago and really like shooting that caliber. I also like SIG's and shoot several of those. I've been handloading since I was 13 or 14 and did a lot of casting and loading when I was a Bullseye competition shooter. Most of the bullets I shoot now are from Lazercast in Baker Or. I look forward to "meeting some of you on this Forum." Beemerrider
