Militech's name keeps coming up in conjunction with these reports of inadequate lubrication... CLP must be used sparingly, but it works. I think some people have gotten the impression that a wet bolt is a happy bolt. That may be true at Ft. Benning, but I don't think it's true in the sandbox.

Miltech has been shamelessly pushing their product and blaming poor cleaning and excessive lube on CLP. Then there's the M16's early history of jamming in combat due to poor ammo.
