Freedom is not free and Americans have always risen to fight for freedom. I pray that each and every service man/woman returns in good health to the familes that wait for them.
To all the ones that have not returned I am truly thankful for the sacrifice they have made and pray they are never forgotten.

Our "Humble Abode" Camp McTurous, Okinawa 1962 The termites ate all the wood right up to the paint so if you
pushed or leaned against a wall it would crumble...Steel cables hold the hut down during a typhoon (hurricane).
Went through three of them while there.

Dad - somewhere in Germany 1944. He made it all the way.
Combat Infantry Badge and Purple Heart. Pulled a piece of shrapnel out
of his cheek while shaving 1n 1950.
