Been a good while since I've been on I know. The wife has been going through a rough time with her diabetes-induced Neuropothy. It's been eating up quite a bit of my time.
Anyway, been working here and there on my 1911(Rock Island Armory). Well, I finally finished it and thought I'd show you guys and get your comments.
I know most of you probably look down on the less expensive 1911s but, I'm sitting here with a totally reliable, sub-2"( Rested, two-handed at 25 yards) 1911A1. Here's what I've done.
Cylinder&Slide parts;
High-Grip Tactical Ambi thumb-safety(Remember, I'm Left-Handed)
Videki Speed-Trigger
Ed Brown Memory-Bump Beavertail Grip-Safety
Wilson Combat Hammer
Nighthawk Custom Mainspring Housing, flat, checkered 25LPI
Wolff springs
Colt Searspring
EGW small-radius fitted, Firing-Pin Stop
EGW Extra-Thick, Beveled, Angle-Bore Bushing, fitted
Kensight Adjustable, Tritium sights
All this with the original Barrel, sear, disconnect
Pics;
