Be interesting to see if the hospital throws the shrink under the bus. I'd guess yes. Probably a nasty note from whatever association shrinks may belong to. On the other hand, I was agreeably surprised by the way a hospital administrator dealt with the flack from an incident in Pittsburgh a great many years ago. But that was many years ago. Highly doubt charges from the legal system.

Unless things have changed a lot, he didn't need a permit to posess the handgun. CC of a firearm, yes.

Anybody know the "State of Stupidity" up there? In FL you can carry concealed at work, unless specifically forbidden, just like it was your home. No permit needed. However, crossing the parking lot to get to work you need a permit or a locked container.

I work at a Gov office on an Airport..double no-no, even in FL.

Who notes the obvious comments about response time from the armed guards at the gate and security center.
