An ultralite would be great for boring holes in the sky on a lazy afternoon. I wouldn't want to get caught in alot of scud with it.
They look like alot of fun!
I only got my private so we could fly down to the beach and I could co-pilot my brother in law's plane if he became too ill to fly it.
When I soloed, he asked if I could land his and I said yes, so he said it's all yours but it has a touchdown speed of 80kts and break stalls at 65 so don't let the horn sound.
It only tells you that you are fixing to plummet to a firey horrendous death. :wink:
Anyway I put it down on the numbers right on the centerline.
