to Both,

IF i had a rifle with a detachable mag, I'd be looking for more.
(MY MBR is a garand, which is more accurate than I can hold it these days & I have MANY clips.)

Only a callous, uncaring, cold hearted evil, red-neck, militia-wannabe, trogladyte would buy weapons magazines in the shadow of this horrible massacre!!!!!

OK, I admit it, I ordered 6 AR-15 magazines from Bravo Company Mfg. this morning .....:neer::angel::angel::angel::angel:

TommyGunn,

As this HORROR STORY is the result of ONE crazied lunatic with "an agenda", I'm trying to keep from saying what I'm thinking until we get all the little kids buried (at least).
(My Sandra hasn't quit weeping yet over the "angels".- she used to teach 1st grade & it's hit her HARD.)

I commend you for that SW. It's a shame the media and some politicians don't show the same respect and restraint.

Give Sandra my best wishes.
The problem with stories like this is it ignites others with an "agenda." Had to listen to Geraldo Rivera this morning on radio with NY Governor Spitzer prattle on and on about gun control & banning "assault weapons." Spitzer claiming that no one "needs" them and that they're "high power" (no they are NOT; the 5.56mm. cartridge is intermediate) and "designed to kill people" (as were bolt-action rifles, the most common type battle rifle of the twentieth century). Well, I finally turned the station and found Herman Cain.
"No one needs an assault rifle to hunt deer," os one of the antigunner's canards. Well, you don't "need" a bolt action rifle for deer, either, because there are lever action rifles. And you don't "need" a lever action because there are single shot & muzzle loaders. But you don't "need " them either as there are bow & arrow....and you don't need those because there are bolt-action rifles.... "and the dog ran around chasing his tail thus describing a perfect circle."
What we really need to to address the way we treat the mentally ill in this country. This has been needed for near half a century, and I've heard experts say they'd give the current system a "D."
I give it an "F."
Best regards.

TooTall,

What we need to do is REMOVE every member of congress and replace them with decent people.
Then we need to lock-up the vicious criminals forever.

In this county, four homeowners have KILLED armed criminals breaking into their home in the last 30 days. ALL of the dead were long-time criminals. SMALL LOSS i say.

Now i hear howling from the media about "vigilalante justice".

threefeathers,

WISE LADY. - Just ONE armed person, despite what the lunatics on the extreme left say, could have stopped this HORROR STORY with few or perhaps no dead kids.

ImVho, it's time to stop talking & protect the innocent. - Our ISD has a (mostly retired LEOs) police officer at every school & we have had NO incidents since they were hired.

When Obama was elected, I went out and paid too much for a rifle…I don’t regret it all that much, I’ve had a lot of fun with it, my kids absolutely LOVE it, and I have no intention of selling it ever so that really minimizes the damage. I’m not jumping on the bandwagon to go out and pay too much for more magazines, and I don’t really have the money to do so this close to Christmas. If for some reason I am never able to buy another high capacity magazine again, I’m probably okay; but I hope it doesn’t come to that.

I’m saddened that our law makers think this is the solution. I’m even more saddened that no one is talking about school security. Plain and simple, I WONT vote for ANY politician who votes in an AWB, and I will specifically vote against said politician. If that means voting for a Democrat net time around, then by God I’ll vote for that Democrat just to make my point (then I’ll vote against him next time around).

Well, my magazines from Bravo Company arrived yesterday. They were $10.99 apiece and I don't think that is an exhorbitant price for black teflon coated AR-15 magazine with magtech followers.
My only problem is I'm running out of storage places for rifle magazines.......:twisted:

Man, that's a fantastic price to pay. I don't even have an AR and I'd probably buy a few.

In the grand scheme of things, that's not a bad problem to have.

Mee too Tommy G. I was clearing out my cave last week and found a box of Colt 30 rounders that I have purchased several years ago. A box of 5 of them.

Code Pink found a way to be an even bigger joke. Protesting Wayne LaPierre, after they have said absolutely jack about Afghanistan or Iraq the last 4 years. They didn't say anything about Libya either and the Benhgazi deaths. Nope, can't do that with a "buddy" in the White House running those shows, but they show up to crash Mr. La Pierre's press conference.

Funny I thought they were about foriegn policy and conflicts, they didn't say much about gun violence at home when Fast and Furious broke. Total and complete tools.

The Press and Libs are pushing hard over the Christmas holiday, most other people are home doing Christmas stuff, and occupied there. Also people will be home watching TV.

On another area of it, the "Stats be damned" approach seems the way the opposition is going now. The antis have repressed themselves a very long time, they said very little in President Obama's first term, and probably have been frustrated by that. They're coming with a lot of "reserve energy." We have to weather that. We hopefully can block anything legislative in Congress though the opposition will try to use that as a club, I feel they may be more interested in doing that actually, especially to distract from the bad economics now, but I'd also be concerned about stuff by executive order.
