Don't be so sure... the Left never gives up. One court bitchslaps them, they try another. And they'll keep trying until they think they can squeak out a 5-4 in the Supreme Court.

They do not want to understand, they have their agenda so it must be the way they see it. They are always right because they only want the best for society. They think gun owners must have a mental defect or they wouldn't own those nasty old guns.

While the "moron" part of your statement is certainly true, the liberal, secular left will never stop attacking gun rights. Because guns in the hands of the people do not fit into the communist agenda. Obama has proven this by turning every one of these mass shootings and terrorist attacks into his own personal attack on the Second Amendment.
And all of the secular liberals will cheer him on regardless. The exact same goes for Clinton. This is because of how the secular liberal mindset works. Or rather in this case, how it doesn't. You must remember that a secular liberal mindset is all part of the, "where's mine?" thought process the communist mind feeds off. For example, if you're earning minimum wage, and a liberal Democrat running for office wants to increase that wage, they're all for it.
They don't understand there are unintended consequences of good intentions. They can't see that far ahead because they don't want to. Like most socialists, they stop thinking, and start cheering as soon as they hear the part that they're getting something "free". When it backfires, (much like Obama Care has), they can't process it. Right away they can't understand how this could possibly happen, because they were all promised differently.
Look at all of the idiots who cheer on Bernie Sanders. Bernie say's burger flippers should all be paid $15.00 an hour.... Out of one side of his mouth. Then, he say's the tax rate should be 90%..... Out of the other side of his mouth. That means that same burger flipper will take home $1.50 an hour...... Which Bernie tells everyone is "a living wage". These dumb ass secular liberals cannot process the simple math involved. They cheer instead.
It's the same reason why these same people cannot digest the fact there has never been one single country where socialism has ever worked, regardless of how many bad examples they've been given. They don't care because they've all been told it will work here. What they can't figure out, is all of the people in all those other countries were all told the same thing. They process the failure of it as the leaders in all those countries are not as smart as Obama and Clinton.
It all goes back to the old saying that the reason communism has never created prosperity in over 70 years, is because the right people have not been put in charge.......... Until now...... And by the way, forget about the last 7 years under Obama. It doesn't count. That's the secular liberal mind set. Again, they cannot process the simple math. They can't understand that you will never increase wealth by dividing it, because they are all too stupid. Go to Pet Smart and stare into the Parakeet cage. You'll see the same thing, much as you will in a Democratic Precinct on election day. You'll even hear the chirping if you listen hard enough.
These people do not care if their gun rights are taken away, because they'll believe that, "It's all for the common good". And there are enough of them to make it dangerous for all of us. Their complete stupidity has been well documented and proven, and will gain in strength as this country continues it's dumbing down process.

In order to better prove what I have just said, look at what is happening all around and through continental Europe as we speak. Socialism and tolerance are tearing France apart before their eyes. A 75% tax rate, Muslims flooding the country to replace the wealthy who are fleeing ANYWHERE else. Spain is in perpetual economic melt down. Greece has been bailed out by Germany 3 times, and every time a politician tries to actually save their economy they vote him out, because just like Obama voters, They want their free stuff, and they'll burn down their own houses to get it. And in spite of witnessing all of this, voters here will stand in line to vote for Clinton. The dumbing down of America continues. Again, welcome to the, "where's mine?" culture.

I have developed a partial theory -- I say "partial" since I'm not totally sure even I actually believe it ...but here goes;billt said:

One might, I suppose, point out (parenthetically of course, never seriously -- that might hurt too many feelings) that our country is in debt to nearly $19 trillion.
Those few lib/socialists who do ....sorta, in a way .... keep track point out that the national debt is mostly owned by U.S. Citizens, not China, Japan, or Pago Pago.

I put it akin to the lifeboat that capsizes with 10 people on board. Only 1 knows how to swim. The other 9 will grab on to him and drown him. They don't care because they would all die anyway.
That's the way the secular liberal mindset works. Hooray for me, and screw you. They feel they will never have anything to begin with. They have been trained to think by liberal, communist college professors, that the system is, "rigged against them", and they, "can't get a fair shake". This is exactly how the whole, "Occupy Wall Street" movement came about. They believe the "1%'ers" have rigged the system against them. They see wealth, and the wealthy as evil who are, "holding them back".
They also have been trained to think the government "owes them something". If the government collapses economically from the economic burden of trying to keep these idiots above water financially, they don't care. Simply because they never would have had anything in the first place. So if they wreck it for everyone else, who cares? Back to drowning the swimmer because they can't.
