This finally showed up on HBO this week. Very interesting movie.

I knew going in that it would be a bumpy ride, so I paid extra-special attention to the first hour or so so I could follow what was going on (more or less).

I found it impossible, however, to follow the action for the last 30 or 45 minutes of the movie. WAY too confusing for me. Fortunately, none of the spectacularly-filmed "action" has much to do with the ultimate resolution of the film, which wraps up nicely in the last five minutes.

My kid thought it was "exactly the same movie as Total Recall." Okay, I can see a little of that in there, also a little Matrix, and a couple other movies.

Amazing FX and stunts of various kinds. Interesting premise. Overall, not a great movie IMHO, but a pretty good one.

I wanted to like it. My kids liked it, several freinds liked it, i liked the graphics but got totally lost. I guess I failed. :duh:

I watched it a while back - a bit too complex for my simple mind; neat FX though.

Caught an oldie last weekend, Ironweed - a bit depressing but good.

Straight up acting, no FX needed.
