Friends,

For the last few weeks I'm having the problem of this site "kicking me off" the forum each time that I try to read or respond to a post. = MORE than 10X just in the last hour.

In nearly every case, I'm instructed to log-in again BUT when I do, I reach the same screen that asks me to log-in yet again.

This is making me CRAZY. - Btw, I am NOT having this problem on other forums/websites.
(I have more than once written to the administrator about this problem but as of now have not been answered.)

You're here now. But, no, I have had that problem. Oh, I get kicked off our local paper for a day or two but since I'm a conservative gun owner and the SAEN is a left wing gun hating rag no real surprise there.

I've not had this problem. My tablet has once refused to link to WI fi, and a couple of sites I've brought up by clicking a link have knocked my net connection down, but I've had no problems here.

Which browser and are you running any browser addons that inhibit scripts or cookies?

I run Firefox with NoScript and an addon that kills cookies when I close the tab.

Well when I opened the forum again, I wasn't logged-in. = There just MUST be a "bug" in the system, as it doesn't happen on any other forum to which I belong.

Have you cleared cookies & history recently? If not, give that a try. Then re-boot.

sw, I've sent three messages so far requesting help on this matter. I also asked that "they" contact me or you directly. Sorry to say, but so far nothing on my end. Sam has made a good suggestion, try that as I'm still inclined to believe it is something in your setup as no one else here has the same issue. I realize this is the only place you are having it though.

Do you get any type of error message when it happens?

I rebooted my laptop about 0500 today.

Fwiw, I have the feeling that neither SpecialEd nor I have been contacted by "management" because he/she/they don't think that actually fixing the problem is worth their valuable time. After all, I'm just one member.

No but I did send another message again today. Tell me, what exactly happens when you get kicked off. Does your browser close? Do you get kicked back to a previous page?
