Does anyone have any idea yet how many Armscorp receivers were produced by James River Manufacturing? Here are few pictures of one I just received.

Do you know what the F indicates after the drawing number?

The first Armscorp / JRM receiver was 17605. The highest serial number I've seen (photograph) is 17675. Within a month of that receiver being made, JRM shut down manufacturing operations. The letter "F" to the right of the part number, 7790189, is the heat lot number according to the receiver drawing.

Thanks, Different. That's an even shorter run than I thought. This one seems to be well made. The machining and finish is better than a lot of other Armscorp receivers I have seen.

I know that is how the heat lots were intended to be marked, but I wasn't sure they were using it that way.

Thanks,
Cass
