So how are we liking it so far? I kinda miss the evil Megs, but otherwise it's keeping me pretty happy.

Getting off to a slow start, three episodes in and Raylan hasn't shot anyone. That blond mobster guy sure is creepy though. I mean how psycho do you have to be to make Wynn Duffy look sort of normal? :eek:mg:

Give the boy a chance to heal; he got shot ya know.

I thought he jinked the icepick guy pretty good, but I was wondering where that BUG was.

Do guns mounted like the blond guy's actually exist?

More importantly, are they reliable... :)
The Ice pick guy was pretty cool, I wouldn't mind seeing him again. As far as the blond guys "sleeve" gun, when he was oiling it and explaining to Wynn Duffy that it had to work perfectly or he was screwed, I got the feeling that might have been foreshadowing for a future scene.

Yep, sounded like a bit of a look into the future, didn't it?

I'm enjoying Season 3 so far. I was worried about Raylon after the range scene, where he seemed to have lost his mojo. But the previews for Tuesdays episode looks like he might have a for real gunfight. We'll see.

Neal McDonough (of "Band of Borthers" and "Captain America" fame) is a great but underused actor - he refuses to do sex or nudity based on religous convictions, which unfortunately limits him professionally. I think he is gonna be a majorly evil dude in this season.

He was on Desperate Housewives a couple seasons ago--yeah, he just naturally brings the creepy. The really weird part there was that one of the housewives' kids looks almost exactly like him, but that kid's paternity was never in question or doubt. If I'd had those two working on the same project, that would have been a major plot line that year.

Are you not counting the ice pick guy?

Good point.

In the preview I saw, I was led to believe that someone might get run over.

BTW, did anyone else notice last week that Fat Bald Bad Guy's GP100 was a half-lug in some shots and a full-lug in others?

Raylan is a quick read. A bit of overlap with season 2 but plenty of changes and "new stuff" to make it a worthwhile read. It's a relatively short book so you may want to wait for the paperback.

WOW, last night's episode (S3, E5) was a wild ride, wasn't it? Parts were hard to watch.

Don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that on TV.

And it looks like they're now using every bit of the language except the F-word and the C-word.

Rayland's shot was a borderline shark jump (if not a blatant, outright one), but I like the show so much, I'm gonna let it slide.

'Twas a good'un. I told the wife at the beginning that I thought the kidney snatch was a fake, just were using him to generate some cash. Just didn't seem like a nurse at a podunk Kentucky prison would be able to market human body parts.

'Course then when they get their claws on Raylon, turns out they apparently DO have the connections to open a Pep Boys for human organs.

The shot: Yeah, I know Snake. But they tried to downplay it a little by having Raylon not remember doing it, and we all know that them there Glocks will shoot through two or three folks, right?

I still don't know if the kidney snatch was a fake and Rayland's talkdown was complete BS, or they really did it. I'm thinkin' maybe they did. I guess it might come out in following weeks.
