Anybody else buy a Kimber 82G from the CMP?
Does anybody make a bi-pod that fits in the handstop/sling swivel channel?
I just got a digital camera and when I figure out how to I'll post some pictures.

A couple of friends have them and love them. When I was at CMP awhile back they had a bunch but all had flaws in the stock.

To the best of my knowledge putting a bipod on a .22 target rifle would be a first and I'm pretty sure nobody makes one to fit the rail. It might well be possible though to use one of the Harris bipods that attaches to a sling swivel stud

I'm not going to be standing, siting or prone shooting it. Bench rest on a bipod sounds like my speed which is pretty slow.

I've looked at the Smith 63s which are nice guns, as are the 617s but man are they pricey! And used don't seem to bring much better prices.

All the other used Smiths and Colts seem to bring a premium too.

You are going to love that Kimber. I bought one a few years ago, they are tack drivers.
