I have a co-worker/friend who's hunting buddy clears out houses after after the estate closes over in LA.The houses he has been clearing out lately have been 100-150years old.The guy finds all kinds of neat stuff up in the attics full WWI uniforms, gun collections and the latest a Le Mat revolver just as the helpers were about to throw the chest/box out.He had them set it down and at the bottom wrap in some kind of clothing was the revolver. The co-worker showed me the pic via the phone at work.I have been wanting to get involved in some of this clearing of the houses and he sent a message if I had ever heard of it?it's like a treasure hunt :)

this is what his pic looked like I told him 5-10K maybe not far off this ended up at 12K

I have one of the repros. Pietta makes them, and does a superb job. The problem is that reloading with the upwards swinging lever (finally, the "thing that goes up" assumes a reality!) is nowhere near as ergonomic as the loading levers on the traditional Colt/Remington style cap 'n' ball guns.

That's quite a find. At first I thought it was a re-pop from awhile back that had a 20 ga. shotgun in the middle (Navy Arms?). I have no idea of worth but that's not something I'm looking for
Not me either Charlie but he has been having to clear out some ole houses of late.He has to list the items in the paper for 30 days to see if any claims then they are his.
