...those hoarding piglets who bought .22LR at the height of the shortage in hopes of reselling it to their fellow shooters at a tidy profit, let's just take a moment to comtemplate:

In the last few months I have bought more rimfire than I'll be able to shoot in the next few years for under 5¢ per round. I just saw Federal Champion on sale online for 3.8¢ per round. As was predicted by cooler heads, the laws of supply and demand have worked their magic, and we are now approaching a glut.

Here's a toast to all those fools at the gun shows trying to unload their piles of hoarded .22 at a fraction of what they paid, and having to pack it up and haul it back home at the end of the day. Ain't the free market grand?

I actually knew a kid (young teenager) who swore he was going to fund his college education with his rather effeminate collection of Beanie Babies. Womp, womp, womp whaaaa...

I had enough that I wasn't even thinking about buying more. I still have about 10 years supply. I'm still laughing at those idiots. I even had one from my gun club who is now stuck with more .22 RF ammo than he and his family will ever use!

So where can one find .03 cent shipped or picked up?
I don't think we'll ever see 3c again. Even 4c is a cause for celebration.

I miss the days of 500 rounds for $10 or less. I used to shoot 500-1000 rounds every weekend.
