Linking url's to a phrase in your text?

How are you guys linking url's to a phrase in your text? Such as:

"Click here for the rest of the story",

rather than pasting the actual url in the body of the message.

enclose the link in code, specifically text to be displayed

Since this board does not underline or color links for some reason, I like to either add the underline code or a color code, or both, to highlight the link. [ u ] your link [/ u ] and [ color=red ] your link [ /color ] with no spaces.
