Well, I saw the first threemeinutes...then got some serious sleep after staying up for Mythbusters(TM). A lever action rifle and a M1911?

I'm d/l it now. I'll have to preview it to see if the misses might like it. Anybody watched Continuum? I'll have to check that out too.

I watched the whole thing and I was puzzled when they found out the killing bullet was a 45.70. They immediately said it had to come from a Sharps rifle, and never considered anything else. My first thought was maybe a Marlin trapper or even a trapdoor.

Maybe they can tell from the number and direction of lands & grooves.......?

I mean, THAT'S how it was done on Hawaii Five-O.

It was ok, aside from nitpicking some of the tactical \ technical stuff that I'm prone to do I think it's got potential.

In the wasteland of reality tv, sitcoms and "talent" shows, it's certainly more engaging.

I bought my last AK on the interwebz...

I wouldn't have been so sure when he test fired the Sharps that it wasn't going to go off. I was waiting for him to tell Branch it was missing the firing pin or something.

His rifle "expert" was wearing Ray Bans while shooting - glass lenses...

The shot on the bad guy in the Tahoe strained credulity a bit.

On the up side, it looks like we get to see Katee Sackhoff pole dance next week.

And I've had to do the "cut yourself out of the seatbelt" deal on one occasion; the only one I hope... :)

Guess I'm getting easier to please in my old age or something, but I LIKED the pilot. Yeah, the gun stuff was off (like claiming that you can't get a Sharps, they're all old collectors items. Modern repros abound...I've got one.)

Yeah, that was a helluva shot the Sheriff made with his Winchester, but I remember seeing Kojak and McGarrett making impossible shots with Model 36's way back when.

And I am a big Plus One with Walt on Katie and the Pole! ;O)

I recall seeing Cannon service a scoped weapon wielding bad guy at some distance with his snubbie.

There be men... :)

"gotta be something old, odds are in this part of the country it's a Sharps."

I saw Longmire on Xfinity with my wife. She had already seen it. I might have bought the ending shot if he had fired when the SUV was moving straight away from him...
The gun tech was lacking.

I did like the car crash. And the wise*ss young deputy wanting to take the boss job, comes of being an elected official in a small population area.

The bouncing off the Indian Police is not unusual I'm told by LEOs on all four sides in that mess.
