I took Baron and his wife out today for an evening expedition in 25 mph winds. The wind did not stop the reds from feeding though as I found some calm coves and picked up two or three in each locations.

Live minnow under a float did the trick as it was to windy to throw lures. They both caught the biggest redfish of their life, about 12 pounds each. They were totally amazed how hard these fish fought in shallow water. They ended the day with their limit of bull reds and about 7 in the slot.

It was a great evening even though the wind was blowing hard!
