Hello all,

I am currently trying to locate a cheap M1 Garand unmachined receiver. I am building a M1 Garand that is just for looks and not for actual shooting. I have the stock that I bought from CMP but their receivers are all $150+ which I am not really looking to spend.
I hope this does not draw any bad comments to why I am doing this, I just really need some help with this. If anyone has any information, please let me know. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Try Numrich Arms/Gun Parts Corporation. I've seen unfinished/un heat-treated receiver castings and frames go for real cheap prices, and they have just about anything. They probably have tons of Garand stuff.
