This a Question for the experts. I have a M84 Scope and all indicators shows it to be authentic.
My problem is that there are no drawing numbers below the sight alignment knobs. The scope is a very low serial number, 1286. I cannot find any information stating when the drawing numbers were added or if all M84 scope are suppose to have the drawing numbers.
Can anyone help me with this problem???

My recollection was that the reproduction M84's used a steel front hood over the objective lens, and the real M84 is pained brass. However, there could have been some M84's that were made with a steel hood, but I just don't know.
